Baraca Restaurant Campaigns

The Shake Up Your Wake Up

The Shake Up Your Wake Up campaign includes an annual Breakfast Week celebration championing the importance of breakfast which takes place every January. Breakfast Week is managed by HGCA and run on behalf of arable farmers who grow crops such as wheat, barley, oats and oilseed rape. The purpose of the campaign is to raise awareness of the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast and demonstrate the wealth of wonderful breakfast produce available around the country.

We want to get involve to encourage people to think about where their breakfast foods come from and support the farmers who produce it.

Baraca Restaurant Pet’s  Board

We had a couple of budgies a couple of years back and one of them got lost. We tried putting flyers around to find him; went to local shops, supermarkets and many other places, and ask them to display a flyer in their window, but had no luck, he has never came back home.  My son was extremely sad. Few days later, He asked me if we could print a picture of the budgie and pin it to our daily special’s menu board at Baraca.  That was so amazing!!!

Because we love pets! Because the statistics shows over 10 million pets go missing every year and millions never make it back home, we at Baraca offer an online bulletin board to help reunite lost pets with their families. If you have lost a pet, please use our online board to find it and if you have found a pet, please browse the list of lost animals to see if there is a match.

We have many visitors that have been to our website per day and many page views per day. This may hopefully help you to find your pet.

We support ‘Ugly Veg’ Campaign

When it comes to nutrition, whether a fruit and vegetable is twisted or a bit strange shaped, doesn’t mean it’s any less delicious. Imperfect veggies can be beautiful, delicious and just as nutritious. That’s why we love to go to the farmer’s market specifically for more natural looking produce. We don’t care if an apple has some blemishes on their skin or a tomato has some holes. We fully support the ugly veg campaign and we think people should get their minds around eating imperfect vegetables as they’re healthier than perfect vegetables.
