For Children we offer half portion size for half price from the A la Carte Menu.

If you are using our e-mail enquiry form for a reservation, we will receive your enquiry
in our office and send an answer to you by e-mail. We answer to all enquiries right away.
Most of the times you will receive an answer within a few hours but we will never let you
wait for more than a day.If we receive your e-mail during office hours you can usually
expect a reply within 2 to 4 hours.If you e-mail us after 17:00pm we will probably deal with
your message the following morning, so expect your reply to take a little longer. If you don't
hear from us within 24 hours, there has been an e-mail failure, please try again.
Unfortunately some servers have strong anti-spam software that blocks e-mails.
For last minute bookings we strongly suggest all our guests to call our reservation line
on 01202 515144 and get confirmation of the booking. We cannot guarantee a table if you
have not received a confirmation e-mail from us via e-mail. Please also bear in mind that
you cannot use any special offers and vouchers if you have not received confirmation
e-mail of the booking from us.

For group bookings of 8 and above in the restaurant:
All bookings are regarded as provisional until Baraca has received full payment of the deposit.
In order to confirm your booking, Baraca requires a £10.00 deposit per person for all
parties of 8 or more guests if booked on a Friday or Saturday evening (between 6pm – 10pm).
This deposit will be redeemed against your final bill.
Provisional bookings will be held for 14 days from the date the booking was made and then
released if we have not had confirmation by means of a deposit within this time

Table position requests are taken but not guaranteed. Please detail any special food/drink
requests on your booking form, giving as much notice as possible. Please contact the
Reservations Team for further information.

Seating arrangements on weekends depend upon the number of people booked in, timing and
the size of each party. We always give our guests an indication of seating arrangement
once numbers are confirmed. Although every effort we make to satisfy your special request,
we cannot guarantee that your choice of seats will be available or that seats together
can always be obtained. The seating arrangements for all bookings depend on each other and
we will do our best to accommodate your group if capacity allows. Friday and Saturday nights
at Baraca are very popular nights with large parties booked in well advance therefore it
is not always possible to establish a seating pattern.

A £10 per person deposit will be charged to your credit/debit card. Deposit payment can be made
by calling our restaurant on 01202515144, from 9:00 to 23:00.
The deposit for your booking is held as a guarantee to confirm your reservation. The deposit is
payable within two weeks of your booking having been made. Bookings will only be held on
provisional basis for 14 days, after which time the space will be released.
Deposits will be lost if failure to show without at least three working days’ notice.
If party numbers drop less than three working days prior to the booking
the deposit will not be refunded.The deposit will be subtracted from the final
bill on the evening. If cancellation periods are observed, the deposit paid will be
refunded to your card. This may take up to five working days.
Deposits can be paid by card, we will be happy to take your details by telephone.
Baraca Restaurant is operating with Chip and Pin Machines.
All guests will be required to supply a credit card with a chip and will be asked to enter their pin
when settling their bill.
We do not offer customer accounts, nor do we offer company invoicing.
All outstanding balances must be settled, in full, at the end of the event.
We accept all major credit cards and cheques with a valid cheque guarantee card.

Your total deposit must be paid in one transaction
By cash, in person at Baraca. Please avoid peak times (12pm-3pm & 7pm-9pm)
and do not send cash in the post.
By credit or debit card (over the phone or in person).
Sorry, we cannot accept cheques, AMEX or payment after the date of your booking.
All bills must be settled on or before the date of your booking

We cater for all kinds of events ranging from exclusive or partial hire day or night depending
on our availability. We can accommodate parties from 10 up to 60 guests and there
are several options to choose. Please just give us your full requirements and
we’ll give you a proposal. There is a charge for the hire of the restaurant and
the price depends on time of the event.(Lunch, dinner, seasonal)

You are advised to keep us informed of any change in numbers (regardless of how small).
In the event that the confirmed numbers in your party reduce by 10% or more without
at least 3 days’ notice, the Baraca Restaurant reserves the right to forfeit all
deposits above the 10% reduction.By way of illustration...
If your booking is confirmed for 20 but only 18 turn up then your full deposit will
be redeemed. However, if your booking is confirmed for 20 but only 15 turn up then
you will forfeit the deposit for 3 people (£30)

Deposits are non-refundable should you cancel or move the date of a confirmed booking less
than 14 days prior to the function. Additionally, should you cancel a confirmed booking
on the day; we serve the right to keep the deposit and charge fully for the chosen menu
based on the number of guests anticipated.
Charges apply to both lunch and dinner reservations.

Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before your booking time.
We will only hold tables for up to 15 minutes after booking time, if you have not arrived or
called to let us know you’re running late, we reserve the right to release your table.
Please inform us of any special requirements and we will endeavour to meet them for you.

If you really can’t find the wine you're looking for on the, Baraca’s, enormous wine list.
We offer a bring-your-own-bottle (BYOB) wine option for limited periods or by prior
arrangement with the management. Please ask at the time of booking. Corkage is charged
at £5 per bottle of wine and £10 per bottle of champagne/sparkling wine.

The Baraca Restaurant reserves the right to retain deposit monies should there be any damage
caused to fixtures or fittings by any member of your party

Baraca Restaurant accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage to any items left in its care.
All items are left entirely at the owner’s risk.

Fresh flowers can be provided in the room or on the table to an additional
charge of £100.00 per arrangement - £45 per table, which will be added
to the final bill.

An optional service charge of 10% will be added to the final bill. All prices quoted include VAT.

Baraca Restaurant - PRIVATE HIRE TERMS:
Deposit cost for room hire: A deposit of £10.00 per guest is required
Total cost for room hire: Room rental of £300 for Lunch-from 11:00 till 16:00 /
£600 for Dinner-from 18:00 till 01:00. Seasonal hire needs to be discussed.
Menus/price per head: Please visit our menu page for sample party menus
Min/Max people: Minimum 40pax, max 60 pax standing
Available times to hire: It is available from 11am to 01:00am
To hire a band: Live music up to 12 midnight and maximum 3 person band by licence)
Menus must be pre-selected in advance.
Menus are based on seasonal availability and are subject to change. We require all guests to
choose a set menu of the same starter, main course, dessert and if required cheese course
for all guests.
The wine list is subject to price and vintage changes throughout the year. Any menu and wine
changes shall be relayed to the client. All drinks (including mineral water and coffee) will
be charged for according to consumption.
In order to fully prepare for your reservation we require menu and wines choices to be confirmed
7 days prior to the date of the function. Only food produced by the Baraca Restaurant kitchen
is permitted for consumption on the premises.
We may cater for dietary requirements and kindly ask to be advised of these in advance.
Any new dietary requirements that we become aware of on the day may delay the
speed of service of your event.

Baraca Restaurant Food Allergy Guide:
GM foods: To the best of our knowledge and under the guidance
of our suppliers, we do not use GM products in our menu. We do not use
any GM food in any of our dishes all food is made fresh
on the premises and we rigorously check all our suppliers.
Nuts: All of our products may contain traces of nuts. If you require
a nut-free menu, please ask the Reservations Office via

Baraca restaurant makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause
allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to train
and instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. There is
always a risk of contamination. There is also a possibility
that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation
or substitute at any time, without notice. Customers concerned with food allergies
need to be aware of this risk. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination.
All foods in our kitchen are prepared in a restaurant cooking environment that
could involve accidental contamination with the foods you may be allergic to.
At Baraca restaurant, we always provide information and assistance to
our waiting staff with food allergies. Our waiting staff with these concerns
is encouraged to consult the Chef or Manager for specific ingredient questions.
Our staff will be happy to assist you.

Shellfish: Shellfish include: clams, squid, mussels, shrimp, scallops, oysters,

Soy: Soy can be found in a variety of foods including: baked goods, canned tuna, cereals,
crackers, sauces, soups and more.
Wheat/Gluten: Wheat/gluten can be found in a variety of foods
including: breads, cereals,baked goods, sauces,
spice mixes, soups and more.
There are reportedly 12—14 million Americans with food allergies; 4—8% of infants and young children are sensitive to one or more foods. Approximately 2—3% of adults have food allergies. The two products to which most people are sensitive are crustacean shellfish and peanuts.

Symptoms of allergens include respiratory concerns such as a runny nose, asthma and/or constriction of the throat; skin problems including hives, swelling and rashes; gastrointestinal distress including cramps, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting; and anaphylactic shock. The latter is the worst case scenario in extremely sensitive individuals. Without prompt treatment, persons exposed to allergens may go into shock and die. Most persons with food allergies are label readers and take great care in avoiding the food to which they are sensitive. However, in cases of accidental ingestion of an allergen, they immediately inject themselves with syringes containing adrenaline and head for the hospital.
